Worthwhile,
depends what you want to use it for.
might be good for university students to learn it's features other than raw processing.

It's a good marketing ploy.

There are so many free image editors available that Adobe probably decided to make it available for free as it is now so far behind CS6. If people are going to download an editor for free then Adobe may as well let it be one of theirs. They may well get a few people tempted to purchase a more up to date version.

In real terms most photographers indeed most designers could happily use PS7 let alone CS2.

Very true, Keith. I'm still perfectly happy with PS7 to do the final tweaks after using Lightroom 3 for most of my processing.
Might still see if I can get the CS2 download to work some time, though Wink

I've managed to download it this evening. Not sure if I am allowed to post the links though.

Indeed, I'm still happily on Elements 5.

Mac, Win 2000 or XP Sad Taken me ages to get the site, hopefully I might be able to get my temperamental ancient xp laptop going , I loved my CS2 and couldn't get on with anything else very much. Thanks for the heads up Smile
