Hi
I thought I would mention this in support of Fuji.
I was surfing through all my old pictures saved on my picture program/editing suite, these were taken over the years [some of these cameras were borrowed] with an Olympus E-510, E-620, Sony A550, Pentax Kr, Panasonic G1, G2, G3, Nikon D5000 with 16-85 Nikkor and finally a Fuji HS10. Bear in mind this is only a personal opinion, the HS10 had the nicest pictures, and the landscapes had the best greens and blue sky's I have ever seen. The landscapes were sheer dynamics. I sold the darn thing early last year and now wish I hadn't.
I was so impressed, that I have ordered an X10 and I am now considerent going entirely Fuji when funds are available.
Pete

Would that be a " Grizzly " or a plain old " Brown " .....![]()
To fully understand and get the best from any camera, You need to use it for a while, Just plugging away with " Default " settings on a variety of brands and models, Is hardly a great insight into any one model brand or type in particular.....!!!
Maybe you just got lucky with the bridge in that you found the default settings agreeable, Why not upload a few sample images so we can all judge the good from the lack lustre....![]()
