I think its a metal toggle on a jacket or bag.
Some sort of button for a device of some sort? Hmm, potentially tricky eh? Is it an electric trick? :o)
It looks to me as if it could be the depth of field preview button on an old camera
Or even a Flashgun test button
Its some sort of nut (like its poster!! only joking!) on a metal object Can't wait for the answer.
Could even be a shuter release button with cable thread inside?
Clue one: The metal part of this object is up about 1/4 of the whole object.
It is very similar to the quick release on a 1896 model 78 chastity belt removed from service on the 10th of march 1925.
excellent... very funny Martin, but alas not quite right... this was the 1839 model!
Is it a bayonet fitting light bulb?
it's the hubble telescope surely!!
Well done Sophie, you were right! Too easy, obviously Try this one...
um, worksop on a foggy day....
its the top of a beer can
