I went down to the pond this afternoon, there's a lot of frog spawn! Because we have water flowing through the pond it isn't frozen, so it should be ok!

Oh they're all adorable. Love the beautiful weasel and those birds deserve a place in the gallery. Magic. Smile

Well, our camellia survived the late frost and probably has more blooms this year than ever.

The rest of the garden is cleared and waiting for the first rush of Spring but our fence has taken a right battering so we have had to clear away 6 large rubbble bags of climbers from it.

Its now waiting for a couple of fit young lads to come and dig out the old posts and replace them with new

My wife is all excited as I have told her we can plan a new planting scheme to replace the old growth, which could lead to a tidy profit for our local garden centres! Wink

    Nice garden for birds Brian.Grin

We had a sparrow hawk in the garden yesterday, but it was gone before I could get to the camera.Tongue

Lots of lovely blue and yellow Crocii, and a few Daffs already.
Even got Crocii in the lawn, no idea how they got there.
Primulas in the tubs are full of colour as well.
Hattie our 50+ year old tortoise has woken from her slumbers, so we put her out during the daytime, until the weather gets warmer.

It was and still should be but unfortunately a series of local oak trees had to be cut down as they had a nasty fungal infection and we are pestered by our neighbours near feral cat (killed my lovely little Chiffchaff at the beginning of the week Sad )

Hopefully things will improve as Spring develops.

(We've knacked our bug life though, both fences used to be covered in a jungle of foliage which was a real macro-shooters heaven. Unfortunately it also ruined the fences so has had to be cut right back - oh well, that's life)

Yes, at last, we can start planning. My daffs are out already, as is the cherry blossom on the trees down our roads. A pair of blackbirds have been busy feeding in the garden, thank goodness; I thought I'd lost them I hadn't seen them for such a long time. Smile

There's been a sparrow hawk stopping by recently, but I've missed it so far, I've been downstairs and the camera's upstairs.Tongue

A couple nights ago we had 6 deer at one time in the garden.

We hear the coyotes howling at night, but we haven't seen them in awhile.
