Goodbye Astia!

Just seen the news on Ephotozines Home Page and I feel it's really sad that Astia 100f is to be discountinued.

I've used it in 35mm several years ago and I was impressed and still use it today in medium format, it's sharp and ultra low grain and not full of contrast like some E6 films.

I'm glad I bought a load in from Germany in June hopefully it will last a while!

Youll just have to buy the Fuji X100 or the newer one which have Astia emulation built in!

The thought had occoured to me about the X100 but not at 900!!

I'll probably start to use Pro 160s instead

Quite old news - Astia was discontinued 2 years ago.

Kodak has assumed the crown as the king of natural colour and tones. Furthermore, with the recent price increase from Fuji, the new Kodak Portra represents much better value
