Computer spec: Abit AN 78 GS socket AM2+ motherboard with on board NVIDIA Geforce 8200 graphics (128 mbs).
    AMD ATHLON 64X2 5200+ 2.7 GHz (2x512KB) processor, OCZ 4GB 1066 Reaper HPC memory, Coolermaster 550w
extreme power plus PSU,Windows 7, Home prem. 64bit.
The computer is used for Photoshop CS3, elements 8, Nikon capture NX and maybe Lightroom 3 in the future,
watch a few films, general internet use, no gaming.
The question is, is there any advantage in upgrading the graphics, if so any advice would be appreciated,
    budget about 50.00
    Thank you... David

    For photo imaging use David..??

No. The video card you have is fine.

Any post-production 'grunt' needs to come from the main processor/memory/hard-drive et al setup.
