Greenhouse Cat Moggy Deterrent Advise Please

hello everyone

there must be some of you green finger gardener type here

so heres my problem >>
ive just bought a green house so i can grow mainly Tomato plants and Chilli pland also sweet Peppers and have ALOT of them as im hoping to make some suaces and other things

the thing is i have a cat shes a fired up Bengal spotty thing and she is really becoming a menace dont get me wrong i love her to bits
but she is insisting on getting in my greenhouse to reek havok several times ive cought her trying to eat my plants
and i need to keep the greenhouse open so plants can breath

ive been looking at the electronic cat deterrent which give high DB only cats can hear but the range is HUGE on those things and dont want to frighten her off completly

is there a device which can work inside greenhouse only ??
or what do you guys recommend ??
i really dont want to let the moggy go but it might be a last resort Sad as its a full time job having to watch her

thanks for you help in advance

Have you considered some very hot chilli oil along the door sill?

What about, opening a roof light window on the green house, and keep the door shut !!
If the greenhouse doesnt have one then take a pane of glass out and replace it with a piece of cut to size perspex with a few small holes drilled in it.

Just my 2c

A liberal sprinkling of pepper sometimes deters them! Especially in a greenhouse where the rain can't wash it away. Does she use it as a loo, or is she more interested in attacking the plants?

Open the door and cover the gap with a bit of chicken wire? How hard can it be?

Especially if it's wired to a car battery Wink

Or you could try making a curtain out of the netting used around roadworks. It can be bought at garden centres. It can be rolled to the side when not in use.

Tried that but it was impossible to sleep when it started getting lighter in the mornings. Sad
i did forget to mention that mygreenhouse is one of thoses 6ft by 4ft walkin PVC type ones so its only having a door
but the chicken wire sounds visable

Dig a large hole in the garden, throw in the contents of a can of tuna, cat jumps in, fill in the hole. Give it a blast with a 12 bore for good luck if you want.

If it's someone else's cat, you might want to be less gentle.
