Have just noticed that Lucien Holbeeck has deleted his portfolio in totality. Does anyone know whats happened? His profile details are gone too. I hope he hasn't been a victim of personal criticism as I've seen once too often here.

He did say that he was going to be busy for a while, therefor less active on the site.

However, the deletion of his folio suggests that he might have been upset by the recent click furore.

    I hope not.

Maybe he's just having a clear out. A big clear out, admittedly! Hope all's well.

    My God! You're right!

Lucien - if you read this thread - please consider returning my friend...

Maybe he has just got fed up with it all I've been close to deleting mine on more than one occasion, maybe he is just taking a break. Hopefully he will come back and if he reads this then take care of yourself Lucien.

I deleted all my 40 or so photos because they looked like a random hotch-potch rather than an organised and themed presentation which you would put together if, for example, displaying prints or putting on a slide show.

I intended to upload some new ones and perhaps some I had already deleted in a more rational order, but hven't got round to it yet.

There is far to much of this happening on the site now, I often feel like deleting my work at times.
Find im spending less and less time on here visiting other forum sites more.

Are you saying that the site doesn't have its ups, or that it doesn't have its downs, Ade?

I'm saying it isn't the same!

I will even go so far as to say that the site has taken a downward turn......Believe me Lucien isn't the only member to have deleted their portfolio recently because of it!

And that my friends is all I wish to say on the matter.

Sorry that you feel that way, Ade.

We all get cheesed off with things occasionally, including the site.

Look at its good points. Have a breather from it for a while.

I reckon the majority of the people I chat to in these threads are pretty fine folk, even though I've never met any of them personally.

And there are some great pix in the gallery.

Plus the technical advice in the Techniques section. Just look at the LH column to the page.
