I have just looked at my PF and now have a photo showing at the top under Premier and HC photos. It’s rubbish, I snapped it while sat in my car waiting for someone. Judging by a comment on the photo it just have been given an HC back in December, but I have not seen anything in my PF until now.
I mean I am happy to have been given something, but, the picture is just not worth it. I have others which are so much better and I am sure there are many many more from the time by others that deserve this more.
Sort of happy, sort of not. I would love to know why it was chosen for the HC.

Really not sure how this got there. It was on the day I had my heart attack, maybe the team panicked and selected a few pictures or maybe I slipped on the keyboard as I fell over . You're right it shouldn't really be an HC (as you're ok about it I've removed the HC, and I've just been looking at your portfolio there are much better pics in there. It's a really good artistic and more experimental folio, well worth a look 
The Team have just updated the system to include HC's with PA's (and old EC's). I suspect there was a glitch as the servers and databases re-synched...

That could be the case. We've had a couple of cases where pictures were included that shouldn't have been. If anyone else has any issues...and no not Miles and his duck...please let us know.
well....what a refreshing change!! 
If everyone was as honest and critical of their work as you are there would be far less grumbling click threads going on. I have deleted a couple of awards in the past because I personally dident think they were up to standard.

I have one HC that I am, shall we say, a little puzzled by its award. It was awarded just after Pete's ailment and I put it down to the new selectors initial over enthusiasm. It's the round bale covered in snow, I appreciate it's award but not convinced myself it is wholly worthy.
However, the lack of HCs and PAs I think I deserve ( ) far outnumber the one I think I didn't deserve......

It's good seeing my HC's because i got them with my expensive good quality canon's & sigma lenses but the EC which obviously i honour, was back in 2004 with my 2.5mp olympus which is only just better than my 1.5mp cell phone. it would be great to achieve top awards like the EC and PA using my serious professional equipment. i probably shoot myself in the foot here but i think i had more chance when i got the EC because pete is more open to originality in photo's than the PA team who are very specialised on exact subject types and less open to members who go outside the box.

Can't they be separated? Or do I need to "hide" all the HCs? I mean some are already hidden, but now it just looks a mess. I'd spent ages getting only the ECs/PAs that I liked in that top area, a sort of gallery of some of my favourites, and now it has other images that I don't want in there.
Can we have an opt out? Sorry to sound negative, but can we have a few tweaks, pretty please?
