So far I've tried '3D HDR' - 'IR HDR' and I'm currently working on '3D IR HDR'

There's a specific filter for that job, Helicon Focus. Seems like a great must have for micro-shooters.

Sounds like another PS technique to go in your Book KH.......when you write it.

There is probably a simple algorithm that can be written that would merge a number of macro shots together. I can see how it would work however i think the camera would have to be held in situ at a given angle. That would enable the program to calculate the given depth of field more easily.
Has anyone seen or heard of such a device and software combo?
Dan
Can you see what i mean abou ta device to keep the plane of focus and angle the same though to avoid any unusual effects ??? that way a measure movement can be induced.
Have you seen a device that does this Keith??? It would sort of be a macro version of a pano head.
Dan
Keith .. I did think the maths might be a bit beyond you. I'll go and ask a more academic photographer
