Hello everyone

I am looking to buy a new camera to expand my photography hobby. Joined this forum to find the best cameras and equipment to get, and get some tips on how best to use them.

Looking into Nikon DSLRs and was wondering where is the best place to buy second hand ones.

Hi there, Welcome.

If you have not done it already, and assuming you've no existing investment in Lenses etc; Go actually hold a few in a shop and see which feel right for weight and size. Look at M4/3 systems as well as SLR's, also some of the Sony NEX camera's.
If you have a specialist area look at the lenses required - macro/bird spotting etc.
Set a budget, then add £100 for a tripod and bag.

I second MPB and can also recommend mifsuds

I have had many dealings with both and never yet had a problem. Both are staffed with friendly and helpful people and both offer a decent warranty with their used gear
