Hello to all of you. My name is Teri and I live in Gig Harbor Washington in the USA. I recently got involved with photography and would very much like to learn more. I don't own any state of the art equipment, yet. However, I like to think I make do with what I have already received as gifts. I have been on this site many times. I so enjoy everyones work. I have a particular interest in nature photography. I have many photos that I have taken. But, I have been very hesitant to submit them given my very beginner status. I would love the feed back, however, I can admittedly, be sensitive. If the feed back would be tempered with kindness then I would welcome all the assistance that might be offered. My profession is nursing and I recently retired. I have put the scientific portion of my brain to rest for now. I have opened the door to all things creative and am enjoying the art of healing my heart and soul from all the suffering I have seen by exploring the creative side of my brain. I must say it gives me so much joy. I will try to get the courage to submit some of my work. Thank you reading me.

UK based- West Sussex. Semi retired Nurse and a voracious passion for Photography but need lots of advice and critique.
Canon 400D but thinking about upping to 40D.
Like Teri - Washington- I am hesitant about putting up but very keen to go the distance.

Don't worry about the comments you might get on your photos. Most members tend to be diplomatic in their critiques. Besides, you might learn something - I certainly did ... er do, because I'm still learning.
Go on, give us something to look at! 
Welcome, dont worry about putting up pics, we all started somewhere, and a lot of us aint improved since, but we try.
Just enjoy yourself and take what pleases you.
