Hi Folks,

Joined yesterday to see what it was like and impressed so far. I'm a keen amatuer/enthusiast photographer in my spare time and looking forward to learning knew tricks from other members. Particularly like landscape, HDR and long(ish) exposures. Currently giving flash photography a bash due to the wet weather and loving that also.

Hi and please tell puertouk that the west coast of scotland had a brilliant summer last year and hardly any snow when the rest of the UK was suffering with it

Thanks for the welcome, got to agree with puertouk though Jacqi as I don't risk going out when it's wet and well, I'm based on Islay and we get our fair share of the wind and rain!!! Adrian, I'm between Islay and Campbeltown, most of my photography is done on Islay on my days off from work. Do you like doing sunsets, I started with them last year as there is a nice spot I found for them and going to revisit again this summer to see if I can improve. West Coast of Scotland certainly does have some cracking places, I'm thinking of getting upto Oban and Glencoe area during the summer to get some stuff done.
