If you're looking for a free one try 'pc inspector smart recovery' in google.

Other good ones I have used are badcopy pro and sandisk rescue pro.

First and foremost, DON'T write anything else to the CF card!!!! All the "dlete" does is to remove them from the register, the actual files should still be there and as has been said, there are several progs that should be able to recover them

    Good luck

Photorec has saved me time and time again. It is command line, but works even after the card has been formatted.

I used CardRecovery today to pull everything back from a corrupted card that had to be formatted before it could be read again. One of those files was today's upload.

I have used PC Inspector Smart Recovery in the past as well, but haven't been able to install it on my new computer because of a missing .dll file somewhere.
