Hi All, I wonder if there is anyone who can help to resolve a problem? I am trying to send some photos to a friend, But he is having difficulty in getting them to open.
I am sending them as Jpeg, but the problem seems to be his use of the Email facility of Cable Tv. He can get Emails with no problem but cannot open any attachements to them. Is there any other way to send the photos using Emails? Any help or advice will be welcome.
Many thanks in anticipation.

Frank

Has he checked his E mail tools options and made sure that

Under the security tab make sure that Internet Zone is selected NOT the Restricted sites zone.

And

Make sure that the Do Not Allow Attachments box is Unchecked.

Oh! this applies to Outlook Express.

I too often put jpegs into Word for simplicity. better than just pasting is to use insert - picture - from file, and navigate to the pic and insert from there. For some reason this is a lot easier on file size.

When you're writing the email, can't you just insert the image directly into the mail ?

If this doesn't work (for instance, if the Cable TV email only works with text based emails, then you'll have to follow John's advice (and it hurts me to say that Wink
