HELP with presentation needed

1 May 2007 9:14AM
I have some images I want to combine into one to make a multiple portrait and I just wondered if anyone could throw up some ideas.

I have taken an image of a group of 3 children (11 year olds) in costume after performimg in a show. I also have an individual image if each if them. I want to come up with a way of combining the 4 images into one. Each image is captured from the waist up.

The pictures were taken informally and in the theatre with a horrible red wall background and on camera flash. Despite all this the subjects are well lit and sharp and in pleasing poses etc. I've sorted out the background (now solid white) and red eye. Just the harsh shadows and presentation layout to go. The show was Bugsey Malone and a sepia conversion looks ok.

I am not going to post the images as I do not have parent's permission, so hopefully my description is enough.

Any suggestions please ???

Thanks in anticipation

Alan

If you look in Techniques there is one entitled "Montages in Photoshop" which you might find helpful.
