As oil is involved, expect Argentina to be added to the axis of evil anyday now. All Argentina is doing is controlling shipping in its own waters, which it is perfectly entitled to do.

They seem to be claiming an awful lot of extra ocean, including some that is also claimed by Chile. Maybe theyr'e hoping everyone will agree to give them a bit more territorial waters so as they'll just shut up about the rest.

On the other hand they've got some interesting political problems and some shady finance going on, so this might be a good distraction, taking eyes off whats really going on at home.

No it was not oil last time. It was just that we had Prime Minister with a spine. The Argentinians know that we have a weak government in the later stages of a long and lingering death so, it's a good time to puff out their chests.

If our Governments claimed the North Sea Oil belonged to us I cannot see any reason why the Agrentinians cant claim the South Atlantic Oil around their country theirs.

Strikes me one rule for Britain another for Argentina. Now dont get me started on NI.

I am sure we will see more conflicts over energy as demand outstrips supply.
