Emma, The idea was for others to provide content with witty tag lines.

Perhaps the 3rd duck raised an objection?

I deleted it, and apologise if I have done so incorrectly.

The actual thread had a title and a few full stops as the content of the initial post. On seeing the thread and content, I made a decision that:
a) it had no content
b) there didn't appear to be a purpose of the thread
c) the title was a statement with no support to show what that statement was.

Overall it gave no indication what the intention of the thread was.

Having seen other threads where the poster had edited the initial question to a few full stops and then posted a new thread under the same title a few minutes later, I assumed this was the case, so took the action to remove the thread. Had there been more content within the actual thread then I would have left it alone.

Matt

If moderators weren't quackers before they were moderators I think we are safely on the way now, I've got wrinkles since December 2004!

Don't apologise Matt. The only point in having power is to abuse it. Am I right ?

(btw, the correct answer here is "You're not wrong")

Point taken Matt but the series of full stops where the continuation of the thread title as a lead in to the tag lines, I was interrupted by the telephone while posting, so posted as was, tried to edit literally a couple of minutes latter, and there it was, GONE!

Perhaps its all for the best, the idea seems a bit lame now anyway.

Adrian.
