Hi, Thought I would pop in and say hello.

My names Pete and I stumbled across this quite by accident after being interested in photography for ages and never actually getting around to buying a camera, my other half marched me to the shops where I brought myself a Canon 450D.

I am now trying to learn what all those buttons, knobs and settings do so am a total beginner to this. Hope to be chatting to you all a lot soon and maybe a few answers to the gazillions of questions I have...

Hi Pete - welcome to the site! This is certainly the place to be, especially if you have a lot of questions and want to learn about photography. Don't be afraid to ask, upload photos in order to learn how to do better, etc. We all started at the beginning, and most of us on here are willing to help. Enjoy!

Good salutaions, do not be frightend to ask anything because if you dont know then you just dont know.
I found posting work and getting criticed helps me move forward
