It wouldn't make a difference on the size of monitor you view the pictures on, there either 500pix wide of a 1000pix so a 14" monitor would show the same picture as a 22" monitor... a bigger monitor doesn't show a bigger picture.
It's not all down to the monitor size. Take resolution into consideration. 1024x768 on a 22" monitor WOULD be bigger than 1024x768 on a 17" monitor because those pixels are spread over a larger area.

Hi Lisa, to answer your question, we use state-of-the-art virtual goggles which allows us to view all photos in 3 dimensions...
...just kidding, The setup we have here in the development dept is 2 19" LCD monitors set at 1280x1024 resolution. But, we do alot of testing on lower resolutions as well.
Sorry if that isnt exciting enough, you can believe the virtual goggles if you want though..maybe ill put a pic up of a pair of em one day...
