    I have a few transparencies in my Stock, some of wich would benifit from some sort of mask to crop the image. Can anyone please tell me what do I use to do it? Is there such a thing as Masking tape? and If so where do I get it? Thanks for any offers of help.

    Frank,

    Kitchen foil. Fold over to make a nice clean edge and use this to mask your slides. Works a treat. Doesn't matter which side you mask from - works just fine either way.

    Frank , Ian as discribed how to do it perfectly.
    Whast ever you do do not use any type of sticky tape.

    Alternatively GePe used to make masks which you include when sandwiching your transparancy

    Thanks for your advice. Just one more thing on the use of Foil .How is it held in place during projection?

    You open up the mount, insert the foil and reclose the mount.

    Thanks Chris for that. Just that not having cropped Slides before I was not sure if there was any special procedure to it.
