How much memory do you use ?

When I went Digital about a year ago I bought a 512MB memory card with my camera thinking it would be plenty big enough for any eventuality.
I now have four 512MB cards and one 1GB card.

Its amazing how fast you can get through it when your out on a shoot.

How did I ever manage with film ?

I have 26 x 512mb compactflash cards, used to have a couple 1gb ones but they went hicky and I lost too many images so now smaller is better . If anything goes pear shaped I am comforted by knowing my loss is less.

I have 1 x 1Gb that my g/f bought for a Christmas present and 1 x 256Mb that I got free from Canon. I have only used the 256Mb once for an overrun at a wedding shoot. I can easily fir a couple of days shooting onto the 1Gb. Mainly because I take 10 mins out now and again to delete the crap. I also try not to be to repetative so I eventually run out of things to shoot or go off doing something else.

1 x 512mb, 3 x 256mb. And an 20gig imagetank g3. Only use the imagetank when shooting unrestricted gigs or motorsport meetings. Stick a card in the imagetank to download and another in the camera. When ones empty the other one is full...lol

If my memory serves me correctly, (sorry), 4 x 512Mb, 1 X 1Gb, 1 x 1Gb Microdrive, 1x 256Mb, and not forgetting the little cards that came with the cameras - 1 x 16Mb and 1 x 32Mb.

Like the other Dave, I'm happier with a few 512s than a larger card. I feel safer.
