Koen, with you asking like that (don't want to turn this into a mutual admiration session, but your photography is among my favourite here) I might have to weaken and dig out something out in the next few days!

Been on the site for a few years and the click thing has always been a problem. Thought it would have been sorted to work on the percent of views to clicks. When I joined there seemed to be a lot more people willing to give advice which I could learn from. Now the comments are fewer and often not as constructive. Everyone wants to hear "Nice Pic" but its not what we learn from. Threads like this make it harder to comment and don't encourage anyone.

I find threads like this make me think I should just leave a comment pointing out the flaws I see rather than just passing over.

Just part of me I guess Smile

I think the main problem here is the shear numbers of pictures posted, which I suspect has grown considerable in 4 years, and I think many of us have given up trying to keep up.

I am just giving up I think. The site has lost something, not sure what it is but has really lost something for me. Maybe a break is in order.

What, you mean the regular "click" thread. Or the time when newbies start moaning about the site "losing something" ?

O.M.G.
I am afraid I haven't read all the post although they all seem so very NICE and colourful,

I have read the page 1 and this last page,
I am really now so worried I willl not sleep tonight, beause
I am guilty of this dreadful disease
the nice effect,

yes I confess to every one I have used the word nice on some occasions,
and yes i know my school teacher told me never to use it as there is always a better word to use

now i am paranoid about using it ever again

why do we keep on having this tire old thread, about clicking
every body knows there is a vanity clicking
I love it personally
its great fun ha ha
especially if it winds people up Smile Smile Smile
