It came online in the past week or so. Part of the reason I posted....................
Thats a laugh, The X-Pro1 is larger than my D5100 Nikon, Not with a Sigma 150-500mm attached mind you......![]()
Granted its a little smaller than my D700, But not by miles......![]()
Non the less and interesting comparison site for those who think compact means small.....!
But it is 33% shorter, 45% thinner and weighs less than half the weight of my D700.
That is 645grams less, and there will be an even greater weight difference if you consider the lenses, so that is asignificant.
It won't replace the Nikon for me, but will make a very useful second camera.

...............It won't replace my M4/3 cameras either
It depends on which way you're coming at it.
I have a standard Canon DSLR outfit with some largish fast glass but use a GF-1 and pancake lenses for more casual use
Not surprised, most 35mm rangefinders were about the same or just a tad smaller than SLR`s, why should this new fuji be any different.
Might be worth a wait to see what the new OM-D looks like ![]()
The weather proof kit zoom is already available, my guess is that it will be a similar size to the EP3.
