I have finished the tutorials; just awaiting moving back to my proper internet connection to upload them. 
Guys just get yourselves a room and work out your man issues. You have so much in common and this internet flirting is so unbecoming. 
On a serious note I can answer that. Buy a decent monitor, non-glossy of course for photo editing, buy a decent tower from a decent manufacturer, say i5 core with @ 6 or 8G RAM, decent but not too adventurous graphics card from a known brand. then add a couple of drives in an internal raid configuration for data protection reasons like all professional machines have and then avoid any old bit of tat program from the internet.
And it err just works.

You can't because it doesn't work for me. Windows always needs help, maybe I'm missing something hence the request.

Is that a windows get out clause? Having built 5 PC's over the last 12 years I have a fairly good idea whats going on. Its the OS that eventually has seizures, every time.

Without even an explanation? You ignored a genuine request - you at least sounded as if you knew how make windows run properly. Are you implying I have derailed the thread and shouldn't respond to other posts? Maybe read it again.
