Chaps and Chappesses have a look at "Iconic Britain"; it appears that images are being harvested from websites; I have already found one of my images without any credit, link back or any due regard to copyright laws.
I wonder how many of you will find your images?
WTF
Quote: No need to take photographs, just use Live Searches powerful image search to find images.
How dare they...

I just typed Kris Dutson into the seach box and found 5 of mine and one that isn't.
If anyone has won, or does win, something with one of my images I shall go ape **** - I'm pretty annoyed as it is...
I found 10 pictures including one of myself which I'd hardly class as iconic ![]()
PS I put my own name in the search and they all came up, including the blue landscape shot that's been appearing all over the place - even had a poem written about it.
Just had a look at this. Hover the mouse over the image and the photographers name is shown. Not Happy about this though.
Edit
Does on mine but not Kris's
I imagine there will be masses of images from epz members harvested no doubt from our own sites as well as epz; it may well be useful if we all sent them invoices say £200 per image to the contacts on the link on my post at 17.57
Lol, maybe we should Peter.
I've just found another 16 of mine....
I'm dead serious Kris; I think they should get tons of invoices from the photographic community.
I am taking screen grab shots of any of my images I find.
Mine came from several places a couple from my website and some from a BBC Gallery, the titles are obscure with no reference to me or the place they were taken, yet they all come up when my name is typed in.
I'm finding them all over the place there's even a bedroom shot I did for a brochure - just told my friends they can charge more for their 'iconic' bedroom.
It's a farce.
Sorry Peter, I didn't mean to appear flippant, you're dead right. Especially as half my income comes from phtography. ![]()
Mine came from my website with great big copyright notices across the top.
The images are from my previous website which was taken down on the 25th July and are not on the new site. I didn't think they deserved a place on the new site.
Phil
You weren't flippant Kris at all
; my intense anger over the situation was showing in my post; trying to think what the next best step should be; invoice 'em at £200 per image and if necessary chase them through the small claims court except that the total may well be in excess of the small claims court limit of £2000.
