Hullo! ![]()
I was wondering if (at some point) we could get a PS tutorial on how to replicate this technique here.
I would love to learn how to do this, but I can't seem to find anything on the web that tells you how to do it?
I know that infrared image capture is involved, but I don't know how the PS phase of producing these images is done, so if any light could be shed, I'd be much oblidged.

Hi Michael, to do a pseudo IR in PS you'd duplicate the image layer (pics with white clouds against a blue sky work perfectly for this) and on the top layer go: image>adjust>channel mixer then check the box that says monochrome. Apply settings of roughly R150%, G50%, B-50% (play around until ur happy). This will give you the IR look. T get this type of look the two layers can then be blended using the blending mode drop down in layers. Luminosity will give an instant result but try others and try varying the opacity of the top-most layer.
