    Hi
Was up in the Highlands today and came across this bad boy but no idea what it is?
For info it was about the size of a Badger with a wingspan of about 3 feet..................Ok so maybe not that big but it did have its own flight crew, it was actually about 1 1/2 to 2 inch long excluding appendages, ID please?
apologies for quality as only had a 120-400 lens to hand to grab this

It looks like it could be a Horntail (Urocerus gigas).
