Hi, im looking for a new digital camera, specific bits i want are: the camera to be under 300 and to have a very good movie mode .. i have been looking around for a week or too now, i have just come across the Olympus C-2 in the argos catalogue which looks interesting (i.e it has a good sounding movie mode) but i am just wondering if:
A: is a good buy, can you suggest any better cameras?
B: if i put a 128mb SM card in will the 15 seconds for the movie mode
will grow to 30sec plus, as i want to take some long shots?
C: whats the movie quality like (optional)?
I currently have a VPC-X360, which can take good video .. at 320x240,
but only has a 30sec max (total of about 90sec) and a photo size of
1024x768 .. but i want BETTER!!!
Please Help
The Samsung Digimax 350SE lets you make videos as large as the memory will allow. On a 128Mb memory card, I Think it will be over 2 minutes long at 320x240.
It's selling for about 330 online. As far as I know you won't find better video capabilities for around that price. Unless you buy a video camera of course ![]()
The samsung has a megapixel advantage over the olympus, and a 3x zoom and the movie mode is much better. Worth spending that extra for, I think!
James, Al_T's right, the Samsung is worth a look, so is the Sony that you've already expressed an interest in. It uses MemoryStick and currently you can get up to 128Mb which allows a 320x240 movie recording time of nearly 6mins. Check out www.cameratag.co.uk to find the best price on the web.
I made my mind up .. I got a Sony CyberShot P71 and will be buying a 128mb memory stick later on.
I have to say though .. it's a very good camera for the money, with loads of functions and the quality of the pictures at any zoom level (including digital) is very very good!
Hi, recently I bought Ricoh RR120 digital camera,
with photosuite version 4 and drivers.
The problem here is that, the pc can recognise the camera but photosuite can't.
In the readme file it says photosuite can recognise only certain cameras and ricoh is not one of them.I wonder why Ricoh is giving a software that doesn't recognise its camera. Now I can't download the images from camera to PC.
Can anyone help me on this?
Thankyou.
