You have to chuckle at the fact they are even trawling our avatars. Smile

Personally it doesn't bother me. This isn't the first site by a long shot to grab images. Images only go onto PhotoDimension at 600px so are of limited use.

Yup - whatever they're doing, they're tapping into ePZ's website. And it's not just what's currently visible in our portfolios - there's one shown which I had as my portfolio header when I was an e2 member - not there on / in my pf now! Also some are thumbnails rather than the uploaded size AND some shown under my ePZ username which don't even belong to me and aren't in my portfolio. This is worrying, not because my pics are out there (although I don't like that they are out there without my knowledge or permission!) but because ePZ is wide open. Move bum and close the door Smile Please Smile

Are you searching for your image name tags as they appear on here or you names on the site?

Wouldn't you need to understand the point of the website. In many ways it looks like an image search engine rather than that the images are being "used" in any way.

Can someone translate the text on the website to give a clearer indication of the purpose?

Clicked on one of my images... it took me straight to my new website. so not all bad

Is this something to do with the new EPZ ping.fm?

not found EPZ stuff but this site appeard on flickr and its made a carbon copy of many peoples profiles from there too. Thing is most of the (flickr) links to larger versions don't work and its mostly just hotlinking the images - the fact that they have not updated to correct the broken flickr links suggests it might just be an older archive site

As for threats its no more or less a threat than EPZ or flickr - save for the fact that its showing your iamges in another place a small copywrite (with your webaddress/full real name) on your pics would give you suitable protection whilsttaking advantage of the extra exposure.

That said its still wrong and I belive flickr are on the case (at least they have been made aware of it
