NB: Good IR film is quite hard to come buy these days.
If you do find some make sure to get the hi speed variety, as the grain nicely complements the types of images produced.
The old Kodak DCS760 is great for infra-red because the infra-red absorbing filter just inside the lens-throat could easily be removed. Put a Hoya infra-red filter on the lens and you could take a good IR pic.
