Well I thought it should be revived though admittedly I'm now heading off to my bed - prop hunting planned for tomorrow if it doesn't rain Smile

I'll check out the link tomorrow!

My prop hunting tends to be on eBay, when I've had a glass of red too many!

Have a look at this website for some ideas.

Thanks Denny, yes I was aware of Keith's work, infact it was a conversation with Keith that really got me thinking about still life's (long before he posted any still life's), and that really is the type of still life I like, something with a story that the viewer can read.

The conversation was about doing some still life's to illustrate my other interests in history / family history.

If you're into food then Beth Galton is worth a look. Actually the images are worth a look even if you're not into food Smile

Food is not my favourite subject, tho looking at my waistline you wouldn't know, or should I say food photography isn't. However the work of Beth Galton is superb.

I will look for some more tonight but here's one I've loved for ages.

If you're into light painting then Harold Ross might be worth a look?
