I have installed this version on my Macbookpro, and downloaded several programmes which are now running out. The problem is that while I have the programmes on the computer the player simply refuses to play them.

I know from the website that there seem to be some problems with this version. Has anybody else had this particualr problem?

Longer if you use the downloaded iPlayer, 30 Days from memory. Sorry not used the Mac version but the older PC version was terrible so I use the flash based one with the 7 days restriction now. It hogged your resources and bandwidth.

Also longer if you access them via web enabled Sony Blueray players and TVs.

I think that the BBC are looking at changing iPlayer so that UK residents can still get 7-day retrospection free but would have to pay a subscription to access older progs. It would also allow non-residents to access progs for a fee which, they think, will appeal to ex-pats and other anglophiles.

But that doesn't answer the OP's problem.
