Isn't it amazing? I've always looked after my kit, never dropped or broken anything. So I save up for over a year for the Canon 70-200 F2.8 MK11 and - yes, you guessed it - dropped it on it's first outing. There is a little dent in the barrel and it won't now extend to 200mm, it just gets stuck at 180mm. However, it is still working and I'm in the midst of the wedding season so I guess I'll have to manage until my workload eases off and then it'll go on a little holiday to the Canon hospital in Colchester.
Thank goodness it's insured.
Boo hoo......

Ouch, painful. I'm not sure that I would be able to describe the incident so calmly. Fingers crossed on a swift repair.

Heck. I feel for you. Not a nice thing to happen. I dare say we all dread that sort of thing.

Are your with the CPS? They guarantee a 3 day turnaround (I think) & if it can't be done in that time, they send you a loan lens.
