I have just been told the show I was supposed to be doing this weekend, near Gloucester, has been cancelled because the showground and camping area is under 4 feet of water, thanks to the river bursting its banks.

Is there anywhere in the UK I may be able to go and find a dry patch?

Blue skies this morning when I went into Carlisle grocery shopping but as soon as I got back to Gilsland it was torrential rain and gales.

    Yeah, yeah Ben.
Your wife's reading that over your shoulder, isn't she? And you definitely haven't been to the pub on the way home.

Most of South Norfolk is soggy, That is the bits that are not under water, Got a feeling the North has been hit as well.

Do come but bring snorkel & flippers, As well as an underwater housing, And you'll be right, As they say.

I'm in London and had to walk for half a mile in a monsoon to get my passport photos done, needless to say I do not look like a happy bunny in them, nor a particularly dry one.

Sunshine here in Berkshire - now Wink

That said, it's been a s****y day but NOTHING like some people are having. So I can't complain really...

    Raining here again now.
It did stop for about half an hour.
Had 58.4mm of rain since midnight!

Just had a look here and it seems the weather pattern is shifting southwards, so you luck people are going to get what I've had all day...
