I bought my S90 when it was £350 so my answer would be 'yes'
The arrival of the S100 pushed prices of S95 to stupid low levels. I would look for one of those if cash is tight.

will have a look at that . going to get a small camera at weekend so far the shortlist is powershot or oly pl3 or sony nex5n. would prefer small camera to be worn on belt but also like it to have decent grip oly mini seems a bit too small

My grand-daughter has the Pen Mini PL1, courtesy of EPZ, and the thing is amazing!........I keep threatening to take it back off her. The only thing it fails on so far is the fact it doesn't have an optical viewfinder, not really a problem until you try fast panning shots of birds in flight etc......It just can't keep up! Other than this there is very little to fault with it, smashing little camera that even an 8 y/o can take exceptional pictures with.
