    Or has the site color layout changed...this is what i seem to be getting, instead of the usual blue based theme

    We've just updated it making the design a little more slick, less colour and subtle changes to text and graphics so the photos stand out more.

    The frames we had around them have gone..as we try to reduce the clutter of the page to give the photos air to breathe,

    We've also updated the photos landing page

    I'd noticed the change in the thumbnail views and the removal of the boxes a few mins ago.... thought I was going mad (no need to answer that). Liking it so far.. and I do like the new photo home page or landing page as you call it.

    And the title of the photo has been moved back to underneath the image, instead of above it.... Yay!

    Yes and with a smaller neater font.
    Also we've made the icons underneath the title link to the section of the gallery the photos are in so it's quicker to go to the Reportage section of variants for example by clicking on an R under the photo.
    E is for EC HC and POTW. It changes colour to indicate which level.

    The 'photos landing page' is excellent but am not at all sure about losing the boxes, I think the pics have too much space to breathe now and the page feels somehow unstable as if the photos are going to fall over or float off without the containment of the box frame, if that makes sense!
    Oh, and I like the change of colour

    I didn't know there was a "photos landing page". I've only been here 2½ years.

    I prefer it without the boxes though.

    Photos and titles seem miles away from each other now.......

    I did think that as well, they do seem closer to the photograph below than to the photograph they belong to.

    I know I'm getting old but I find the new font a touch small....is there a way to customise?

    Hold down Ctrl and press your plus (+) key.
    Press Ctrl minus to reduce the text size and Ctrl and 0 resets them to the default.

    Command instead of Ctrl for all you Appletizers out there.

    Yes, I'm finding it very difficult to associate the title with the photo above.
