I advertised a Sigma 150mm macro on a "well known listings site" about 15 minutes ago with a realistic starting price and it's sold already.. now that's impressive

.....if you have something that someone wants at the price that they're happy to pay....
You must have put too low a price on it................
How did the direct bank payment from the Nigerian Prince buying it go
I never price too low - just realistically for a used item. At the end of the day, you should start at a price you would find acceptable - don't expect any more than that and then if you do get it, it's a bonus
Any object is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it. Unfortunately many (if not most) people on that website, have an over-inflated idea of the value of their items
I always start at 0.99p whatever I am selling on that site; I must be very under-inflated
Let me know when you are putting some classic gear up for sale, and I may go to £1-27p.;
I have had some classic gear for sale, I have some currently and they are all doing very nicely somewhat over £1.27
