    for someone like me, but I'm guessing the hopes are that this research may be about to bring us the next big leap in digital image quality?

    Waste of money in my opinion. Digital files are too clinical anyway imo.

    Plus, it's all well and good having a sensor that produces a sharp file but what about the quality of glass in our lenses?
