I will be returning to my country of origin (Singapore) after spending a year in London.
I would like to spend my remaining couple of weeks taking pictures in the lovely UK countryside. One of the places I have been intending to visit is Dorset / Jurassic coast.
Can someone advise me on an itinerary for 5-6 days? I am intending to rent a car and will be travelling with my parents who are elderly -- they are pretty mobile but would prefer to avoid long hikes.
Would appreciate your suggestions!
Thanks in advance ![]()
Lulworth & Durdle Door is always worth a visit.
West Bay (harbour)
Chesil Beach
Portland Bill (lighthouse)
Tolpuddle (where the martyrs come from)
Burton Bradstock (lovely pubs)
These are all places your parents could get to easily but which would (hopefully) give you some photographic inspiration too.
Have fun
Ian
Lyme Regis, for lunch and a stroll along the Cobb + some good photo ops
Portland Bill, Abbotsbury (for the Swannery)
Don't forget Exmoor and the North Devon coast as well, and maybe a visit to Lydford Gorge (there are some easy access routes to this place
