Hi Andrew.

Not sure what you mean by the Junior Award.
If you mean the little J icon under your thumbnails in your portfolio, it is there because your date of birth is set to reflect that you are a Junior member.

If this is incorrect can I suggest that you set your DOB to a more appropriate setting.

Hi Andrew, it's a new award that we have introduced. Fran who looks after the Junior Gallery will be giving these out to images that she feels are the best shots each week. It's greyed out when there is no award presented.

Hi Andrew, as far as I'm concerned we have a lot of really good images in the Junior Gallery, so Pete has agreed to a Junior Award (possibly to be known as a JA?) with a box on the same row as the RC/HC/EC/POTW. This will light up in the same way as the others if a Junior recieves an award (a picture that is felt is merited as being on of the best shots that week).

We hope it will give you Guys something to feel good about (alongside the other awards you might get)

HTH - - Pete, might be an idea too let everyone know about this to avoid further confusion Wink

No, Dan, just the same warm feeling you get when you get your RC's Wink

I thought I was going mad for a while there.
I noticed it and wondered why I hadn't seen it before today.

Great, first it was the SATS test my lad worried about, now it's a Junior Award! Smile

Sounds like a great idea and will hopefuly encourage the juniors members!

Don't think James will have too much to worry about on either score, Simon! Smile

On a similar but different note, I did some sums today, and since its inception almost 12 months ago (14th June) we've had close on 2,500 images posted to the Junior Gallery!

I think that shows a very healthy and flouriching Junior Section Smile
