WARNING DO NOT OPEN THIS LINK IF YOU CARE ABOUT GLOBAL WARMING!

Was emailed this link to the auction of some amazing pieces of automotive genius MG's

I really wish the 6 numbers had come in on Saturday, being the shy retiring kind of person I am, I really fancy the yellow one Smile

If I remember correctly, Oakfields were selling some MG SVs for something like £48,000 each.

It'll be interesting to see what these go for.

I had the pleasure of a play in one for all of 5 minutes, one seriously unrated supercar, if it hadn't been for the badge they would have sold all the cars they produced. The real beauty is the fact the engine is the old tried and tested Mustang V8, so easy to tune, although you wouldnt need to touch these monsters.

ok, you can have the MG, I'll have the little Ferrari 275 GTB/4

Although, for that £575,000 I'd want the steering wheel on the correct side......

The 1963 Bentley Mulliner S3 is more my style although £85k would buy you a newish Continental GT.

Some years ago I almost bought a Bentley R-type for a tiny fraction of the price wanted here. But as I had just passed my driving test (aged 17) my father thought it might be an unwise purchase! Wink

I'd rather have the Aston Martin :-O I went to a car showroom on saturday thats jointly owned by Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond (or so i was told) and walked around with my jaw scraping the floor. They had a range of Astons ranging from the 70's to th current DB9 a pile of porsche 911's bently continental GT's ford GT's Mustangs and a couple of ferrari spyders thrown in. I was giddy when i left and most of the pictures i had taken were RUBBISH LOL i've never seen such a collection ofbeautiful cars outside of a museum, im just going to HAVE to go back and get some better pictures, its tough though because of the location and how the ars are kept in such close proximity of one another.

The Vauxhall Vectra at the bottom of the list does look a little out of place in that company doesn't it?
