    Hi,

Has anybody ever sold or submitted images taken on the KM D7D with Alamy? IS the quality ok for library work?

Curious to find out as this looks a great camera, and I might buy it instead of the *ist D from Pentax.

    Regards

    Andrew

Same as last time you asked, it'll need interpolation but the quality shouldn't be an issue.

I know it will need interpolating, but i didn't ask about the KM D7 before, at least I don't think I did (apolagies if I did). And the second part of the question is if anybody has submitted or sold any D7 images through Alamy. I haven't asked that before!

    Andrew,

The D7D is a 6mp DSLR much like all the other 6mp DSLR's. Provided your technique & lenses are good enough, I can't imagine that the images from a D7D are any worse (or significantly better) than those from another brand of camera.

I'm sure the D7D is capable of producing images every bit as good as the Pentax. Or Canon, or Nikon...

Again, thanks for the reply, but still not entierly what I asked.

Has anybody actually submitted and or sold images taken on the D7D through Alamy?

I have the 7D, but not submitted anything to Alamy. As others have said though, the quality would be relative to the Canon, Nikon and the like given good optics. The main factor is the interpolation to meet the required 45meg?

If camera brand/model was an issue with Alamy, then I'm sure they would state preffered models for required quality.

Images from other 7D users, such as Pask, and janine_w are equal to other brands for quality. As you know its largely down to the optics and technique.
