I have just acquired a Kodak Retina II type 122.
It is in good overall condition, shutter fires well(from the lens), rangefinder seems reasonably ok and it came with the case and a lens hood.
The only problem is that the film transport seems to have a problem and the shutter button on the top is not operational.
I think this model is one of the rare versions and may be worth getting professionally repaired but I'm not really sure. Does anyone know what it is worth and where it could be repaired?
I have a Retina 11 although I am not sure what I paid for it many years ago.
Its in full working order.
Any repair will be expensive that will rest with your need to get it working.
This is a good site to read http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~Srawhiti/index.html
Thanks for the info. I have now decided to repair and Chris has done the job! I am ready to put a film in and give it a go.
Thanks for the suggestions all.
