You might have to reinstall. I seem to recall the lens profiles can be taken out by uninstalling other Adobe products.

The reason I asked which lens is that not all lenses have profiles in the LR3 lens correction module. Most Canon, Nikon and Sigma lenses are there but very few others. It is not clear from you post as to whether you have a software problem, incompatible lenses or operational problem. As already suggested, as the profiles are stored in a Roaming data area, could this have been corrupted? uninstalling and reinstalling should correct this.

Has the lens correction been previously working?

If all else fails, download PT Lens.
For $25 you can't beat it.
