I would like to put a little something to people in Newcastle and surrounding areas.
Would anyone be interested in forming a photography club Of EPZers with regular meetings where we could have members with varying skills in photography to help each other improve.
Maybe do things like set assingments for each other.
It should be fun if anyone is interested.

Nice idea Eddie but maybe some are like me - been there done that got the scars from the 'Camera Club' action.
Photography is actually a very solitary hobby.
Well Im in Sunderland so I could go to Newcastle but I think i need to make myself a little more well known first around the site.

You could probably talk me into it... I doubt I'd ever be a regular, but I'd happily turn up when I could. I'm not interested in a "club" as such... I'm not a big one on over-organised events, but I'd enjoy the social of an occasional day out.
Its not a real club I want to organize as such.
I just thought it would be good for us all to get together.

Naaaah... It's about enjoying photography. It doesn't matter how active you are on site.
Someone set a time & place, we can all turn up, take some pictures, have a laugh, etc... I'm not going to offer to organise anything, mainly because I didn't start the thread, but also because I have a weather curse that means that anything I organise is cursed with foul weather. ;o)
do not let james (magicboy) organise anything, unless you want rain!
