    Hi All

I want to get a light tent to photograph small objects for e-commerce use. Objects no bigger than 50cm.

Could anyone recommend the solution to go for? I've been looking at them on warehouseexpress but there are quite a few different ones!

    Thanks

    Ewan

Don't know if its still in their catalogue Ewan but have a look on Maplin's website. Several of us have their version and it works well - and it's cheap!! (sub-20)

    EDIT:

    5th item down the page here Ewan - 19.99 + P&P

That wouldn't be big enough Mike - it's only 40cm each side.

eBay can easily be trusted for this kind of thing.
See here for the 80cm version at 20, or
here for the 90cm version at 30.

Works very well for a close-up portrait! Smile

Haha! I've been tempted. Usually after a drink or two.

    Mike,
I've been looking for some low budget lighting for the tent, Do you have the description of the light on the Maplins site, the website looks as if it has changed.

    Thanks

made my own using 1" poly tubing from diy store and some white cotton sheet, about 3ft x 2ft and appx 13 to make. Folds flat too.

    Ian,

Bowens 250w heads at the mo.

Although not using a light tent, this and this were shot with one head and a softbox.
