    Using my studio lights this evening and they keep firing randomly when not pressing the release shutter. Also they are not firing each time when the remote sensor is used. Any ideas as to what the problem could be? The units are Elemental B series.

    Lights are working ok now! Not sure what the problem was, did tighten up bulbs etc so may have just been loose connection.

    If it happens again, Check your sync plug at the strobe end, Make sure its fully engaged, This applies to cable as well as any remote unit in use.......Especially if your using " Elinchrom " Strobes.....!

    As above - this problem is usually caused by a poor connection between the synch cable/radio trigger and the synch socket
