I am having trouble trying to load plug-ins in PS. I go through the process of loading them into the plug-ins folder but they never appear in the filters menu. Help gratefully received.

Very basic and apologies if you've checked the obvious....

If you have Photoshop running while you load them you will have to re-start the program before it sees them.

Are you loading them into the correct plug-ins folder?

er.. I can't think of anything else!

Be aware that 'Plugins' don't neccessarily get installed into that folder everytime. They can be installed in 'Automate' [File\Automate] also. I even have one in the 'Select' menu (Digital Film Tools 'Snap') in my setup!

    HTH's... Mike

Thanks Jason, it was a case of getting the folders in the right order. Now loaded plugin successfully.

    Cheers,

    John
