I have just got up off nights. Heard the terrible news as soon as I put the radio on. My first thought was all those people I have come to know on EPZ who live in the London area and I wanted to suggest a Roll Call to make sure everybody is ok....

Possibly a stupid idea but I have only been up half hour and brain still fuzzy.

My wishes go to all families - those that know what is what and those that are wondering how their loved ones are, as they are unable to contact them.

I had a wee computer problem this morning and i sent an e-m to my bro,i went back to my server homepage and saw the headlines.Bless him,i sent this insignificant problem to him and he's been travelling through London to work at St Thomas hospital opposite the Houses of Parliament,my stomach is churning,i soon sent one back telling him to take care.Whatever must the people in the city be feeling.
    Bless you

It's good to remind ourselves that we are so lucky to have fantastic emergency services and bloody brave highly skilled people to rely upon. I don't know how they do it - I couldn't. Thank god (or whatever you conceive it to be) for them all.

According to The Met Police Commisioner when interviewed on Sky there was no specific threat about this incident today. Security chiefs have always said its a matter of when not if and today was unfortunately our turn.

means nothing to anyone here but relieved to say that both my brother and girlfriend (who live and work near Liverpool St/Aldgate) are both fine

Andrew - WRONG! It does mean something, we do care, and I for one am glad you have had good news.

    Jeanie

yep, was only a matter of time.

London was never going to get away with it forever after the Iraq invasion etc.

Interesting on sky news is that they are saying that precautions had been stepped down over the last couple of months....

A Dutch reporter on location in Jerusalem says that Israeli military radio this morning reported that Scotland Yard had warned the Israeli embassy in London about possible terrorist attacks today.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the people of London. As having lived through 9/11 I know all the feelings you are going through. We are beginning the rush hour here, and hopefully this incident is not a pattern.

    Keep safe.

I'd heard that too Conrad but the Met have denied it.
